I've followed the instructions and keep getting a "Remote Connection couldn't be established" message. Anything particular I might be missing? Also with the wifiremote settings I don't see a "QR" place.

You should have a tab "QR Code" in the WifiRemote settings or you haven't installed the correct version...[/QUOTE]

I am using 1.2 beta and the WifiRemote is listed as incompatible plugin. I tried both versions to no avail.

Uninstall the plugin before reinstalling th BETA compatible plugin. If it's still not working, post your log files please.

Thanks, that took it out of incompatible plugins. It still won't connect. And I still don't see a tab for QR.
Mine looks the same as the screenshots here

The DemoClient connects just fine. Might be my setting on the phone.

Check what version your WifiRemote.dll has (C:\Program Files (x86)\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\plugins\process\WifiRemote.dll -> Properties -> Details -> File Version).

I had some issues with the GmaWebService. Problem was that I was using different usernames and passwords for wifiremote and GmaWebService. aMPdroid doesnt seem to save a different password and uses the same for every service.

I think you should add this to your installation guide.

Everything looking fine now. I'm impressed Thank you for your hard work.

Do you want us to post bugs, or wait until you sorted everything out?

I have to say i anticipated the release VERY much and so far I'm totally impressed.

I've tested it on my Motorola Milestone as well as on my Galaxy Tab (P1000) and it work pretty much out of the box. I really like the feature to actually see all your movies and series and trigger the play from there.

Regarding the tablet layout - it already looks really good on my 7'' (-;.

The only problem i have is when trying to playback TV on the device - the timeshifting starts by the Android application crashes on me... )-; It did work in previous versions. I'll see if i can provide any additional Information about that in the evening.
