Are you sure you picked the version that matches your MediaPortal version? Else please post your mediaportal.log and setuptv.log.

hm, maybe the cpu of your htpc is maxed out from transcoding? Other than that, it's only MoboPlayer and GmaWebService at that point so it's a problem of one of those two.

Is it possible to see if it's the CPU on the HTPC that is the reason to the problem?

    Yes, it's called task manager...

I look at the CPU usage and it's between 35-45% whole the time, even when the sounds disappear and the picture starts to stutter. Is GMA Webservice used when streaming liveTV, isn't it TV4Home?

For LiveTV and recordings tv4home is used indeed, all other stuff goes through GMA. If you've a dualcore and ffmpeg.exe is taking 47-50% of the CPU, that's an indication of a maxed out CPU too.

If you have a dual core you can try to add "-threads 2" to the transcoding profiles (TranscodingProfiles.xml in the Tv4Home directory). This will make ffmpeg use two cores (per default only one is used).

    Sorry DieBagger,
I have a problem with livetv streaming.
All goes well with videos streaming (wonderful!) and remote.
Livetv streaming doesn't let me choose between LQ-HQ profiles, and opens an rtsp:// stream that my android phone can't reproduce (600Mhz Arm6).
Any suggestion? Is it possible to stream livetv the same way as videos?
    Thank you,
    sdf

You need to start streaming from the channels or epg views... In the "manual control" section you can only attach yourself to the (already running) rtsp stream.

BTW is it probable that simultaneous streaming (of different bands) is going to be implemented in the future (I guess that's TV4Home's work).

Is that even possible with one TV tuner?

You can only watch channels on the same transponder with one tv tuner. As long as your tvserver is able to tune a channel, afaik (haven't tried yet to be honest) it should be possible to start multiple streams (as long as your cpu can handle it).
