    I know that it is from tvrecordings because it happens during using tvrecordings and now that I did not use for a couple of days, MP has never frozen...
    ?

    Yesterday I also had the situation where MP was frozen but for a short time only (several seconds). This happended right after watching a recording. I have no idea why this has happended.
    Did this happen to your MP for a special function such as "watching recording" or "browsing the list" or is this random?

    I'm not able to say if it happens "after" reading a watching recording but it happens sure several times when trying to read one's. I select one and then it does not start and MP is frozen. You are lucky, for my part it is frozen for a long time and I can only stop with killing MP process.
    I have noticed it happens once another time just using go back from the TVrecordings menu (to TV or main menu, I don't remember). So it is not only when starting watching recording. It is really strange...
    As you wrote it is random... everything is ok and suddenly few minutes or hours or some days after it happens...
    The problem is: it is random. So it is not usefull to test what could do that.
    :(
    If no one has this problem as I have, don't waste more time on that problem until someonelse will have the same problem.

    I am using it on a client with the TV-server on another machine.

    You can ignore the message according to the TVscheduler. Did you use MP with the right TvServer and TvPlugin version? If you are mixing the version up an error as the one in the logs might occur.

    Hi, I am using Last SVN from 7.1.2009 - checked on both Server and Client. Is TVrecordings supporting the SVN or just 1.0 final from december? Do I have to go back to 1.0?

    I haven't checked the SVN builds so I can't tell whether it's working or not. But your problem seems to be an indicator that the SVN version doesn't work with TvRecordings. I think you have to revert to version 1.0 in order to use TvRecordings.

    I have just installed the plugin and I have a little problem. Sorry if it's silly or you've already talked about it, but I can't find now the solution.

    When I want to make a new schedule and I go to choose the channel I find under the "Schedule" tab 2881 channels, that's to say all my card syntonised. But I'm only use 20 channels or so, and they appear correctly in MP MyTV in the All channels group.

    How could I get under the Schedule tab only the twenty I have in my guide?

    I've noticed this problem already. This happens since TvRecordings doesn't support channel groups which can be defined in mediaportal's configuration. I will see what I can do ... stay tuned.

    I was using the inbuilt TV engine but have switched to the TV server. In the plugins section I see no configuration option listed to use the plugin with TV server. I tried to uninstall your plugin through the MPInstaller but was unable. Do you have any advice?

    you need to install the tvserver plugin provided by the mediaportal team into your current installation. This makes the standard tv section work with the server. After this, the TvRecordings plugin detects this plugin and switches from the inbuilt to the server engine automatically.

    I have just realized that things have changed ;-) In earlier days users had to install the tvserver plugin but nowadays this is completely done by the installer. Sorry for spreading confusion.
    Okay, let's restart: When installing mediaportal you have to choose between the inbuilt and the tvserver variant. I guess you have installed the latter. Does the standard tv plugin ("My Tv") work? If so, the TvRecordings plugin should work, too without further configuration.
    If "My Tv" works but TvRecordings doesn't you might want to sent me the logfile mediaportal.log which could give a me a hint what's going wrong.

    I thought I was going crazy as the only TVserver plugin was old. Since TVserver is already installed I guess I just need to run the installer again and select TVserver plugin. I'll check over the weekend to see if this works.

    Just wondering if the plugin will support concurrent weekly recordings option from the menu yet?
