Thanks gibman, now it is fast channel changes times again.

However, I have problem with changing channels to channels with multiple audio streams (MPEG, AC3).

The thing is when starting TV on a channel with multiple audio streams it works. Also when changing channels between such channels. But when changing back to a channel with multiple audio streams from a channel with only one stream TV just freezes - it is still responsive but the picture is frozen and no audio - even if I change audio streams (which is still possible). The only thing that get me back on track is to turn off TV and turn it on again.

    This how to reproduce:
    1. Start TV with a channel with multiple audio tracks.
    2. Change channel to another multiple audio tracks - still working.
    3. Change channel to another channel with single audio track - working.
    4. Change channel back to a channel with multiple audio tracks - TV freezes.

    Anyone else experience this?
I'm sorry I can't provide logs right now. But I will later if desired. Running single seat, SVN 16587. SVN 16542 is okay (my previous build). Also I have NOT selected "Prefer AC3" in config. This is also an annoyance it seems like it is choosing AC3 audio as preferred even though I have not selected it - perhaps related?

    Regards, Patrik

Added logs, change channel problem TV freezes (third channel change and the last). Changing back to tvplugin.dll SVN 16542 then there is no problem:

I am experiencing a (at least slightly) similar problem now:

I can watch "normal" programs without problems, also programs with multiple audio streams seam to work.

But I just tried to watch a movie on a program which has 7 audio channels. The TV-Service crashes after a few minutes (I never saw the service itself crash before). Windows event service displays following error:

    Code:
    Fehlgeschlagene Anwendung TvService.exe, Version 1.0.0.16589, fehlgeschlagenes Modul TsWriter.ax, Version 0.0.0.0, Fehleradresse 0x0000c451.

    "Failed application TvService.exe, Version 1.0.0.16589, failed module TsWriter.ax, Version 0.0.0.0, erroradress 0x0000c451."

MediaPortal logs didn't say much about the error, the application just crashed. I attached "streaming server.Log" and "TsReader.log" though. I also attached a sample of the stream I watched.

level20peon :The latest changed I did regarding audio track selection should have nothing to do with the tvserver crashing.

pnyberg: I have no problems changing back and forth between channels with the following audio specs:

    channel1:
    mpeg1
    ac3

    channel2:
    mpeg1

The problem u describe about wrongly auto selecting ac3 should be solved since a few days.
