Actually, this should be possible just by adding the formatted title to the GUI - as the field itself is already there and could be used as sorttitle ...

Do you mean add Formatted Title to the list of Update by Properties on the Update tab in Setup? Then you can select Formatted Titles even in GUI and edit them from there?

No, talking about AMC user Interface - I thought, formattedtitle was already part of AMC db schema ...

When I test Setup Wizard or new catalog, Formatted Title is not preset in Update Properties, even if I select Formatted Title as the master title.

Ah you mean AMC Itself (we are in AMC Unofficial thread DUH!) No in AMC you cannot edit Formatted Titles afaik. The field exists in teh XML but is generated by AMC according to the preferences you set for Title Formatting.

Hi Soulsnake - many thanks for your work. I guess you can tell from our My Films forums how many of us have been waiting for the features you have added to Ant Movie Catalog 4! You will have a lot of fans!

I know Guzzi has been in contact with you and Antoine about the new features and already has some ideas how to incorporate them in My Films. I can't wait! I will give the beta a test drive asap! I have been missing a separate Writers field, plus one for Certification and Studio for a LONG time! You probably know that My Films also allows users to select a field to add local trailers stored on HDD. Many users are using the Borrower field but that is a problem for me as I use that field already (in fact I have used every AMC field possible already ). So now I will also be able to use the My Films trailers feature. You have made me a very happy man! I haven't been this excited since.... well since My Films 5 was released!

AMC 4.1 [BETA] (official) is now in testing phase .
So if all is ok, the release should arrive very soon .
