Yuo have to add Mediaportal in iMon software (as an application).

Yes I did, and extracted the remote.zip to the mentioned directory. In the settings page - program command , mediaportal is listed.

Hi,

Please can any one advise whether this solution is sor the VDF version only?

I have an Antec Fusion Black with the LCD display and not VFD.

Thanks

Hey there!
Ive been having problems with WMC from day one, and finally thought I'd try Media Portal. It does work fine (although I cant play ISO and IMG - how?), but I cant get the VFD to work with it.
The thing is that when I open the iMONPatch the cmd window just opens and closes, way too fast for me to see what it says. I've tried opening the file by manually opening cmd and typing the files location in, and the it says
Can't patch c:\Program Files\SOUNDGRAPH\iMON\iMON.exe - File Not Found! Can't patch c:\Program Files\ANTEC\VFD\VFD.exe - File Not Found!

So when I open iMON software it says it is not compatible with Antec, and it shuts down.

I also have updated the software to the new version, but it still wont work.

So can someone please tell me how to do this? :D

mefi,

i had the same problem here. you must care to install the imon software in the folder "Program Files" or the patch won't work. This can happen if you have win version other than english and the default program folder is different (for example: programme in german or archivos de programa in spanish...)

thanks sogge!
I did try that too since you mentioned it, but all I get is a long error message.
Is it really so that I need to remove the antec VFD programme? If I have to the patch surely won't find the CFD file that it's appearantly looking for? Bec. I had the Antec VFD still installed when I tried!

menfi: well, I had the antec software already uninstalled. install the software in C:\Program Files\SOUNDGRAPH\ and than use the patch in CMD window manually so you can see what it does.

VoodooEx: could it be that it does not work with Fusion Black LCD version like Dalwinder asked? I have the Fusion Black. And by the way to make the display work I installed the plugin from this threat I tried to change back the SG_VFD.dll to the original one but I doesn't work neigther and the displays keeps dark.
