Any Problems With TWO Or More DVB-S Cards In One System? (1 Viewer)

I am planning on purchasing two Hauppauge WinTV Nova HD S2 (DVB-S) cards for my new HTPC build. However, I remember hearing about problems using two cards from any manufacturer (and often from two different manufacturers as well) in the same system... Reports regarding the cards not working independently and thus you not being able to watch and record different programs at the same time?

Anyone able to confirm anything like this?

I have two cards in my setup. Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-4000 and Hauppauge WinTV-NOVA-HD-S2 and everything is working perfekt for me.

But those are two different cards (i.e. different models). What I remember hearing somewhere is when both cards are the same model.

But to be clear, the cards is more or less the same model, the cards uses the exact same driver and the DVB-s/S2 is same in both cards.

I was using Twinhan DVB-S cards and the DRIVER had a lot of problems with more than one card. The same with the Blackgold Cards. As soon there was a second card the driver crashed.

I made the best experience with KNC1 Tuners. I am running a system with five DVB-C and five DVB-S tuners at the same time. And it works like a charme.
