[Question] Any roadmap for MPExtended? (1 Viewer)

Thanks for a great application. I use the web part and service through aMPDroid on WiFi every day.
Just love it
I have seen a lot of great features that should come in 0.5 and was just wondering when it's released? - it's not to rush on you guys, I'm just curious. Are there any roadmap?

Hi Oxan,

I had to reinstall my WHS2011 some weeks ago and I thought I'd wait for MPE 0.5 to be released as for many feature additions and bugfixes it contains. I remember setting up 0.42 with IIS was not too easy and I fear that things might get a bit tricky if I choose to install 0.43 now and upgrade to 0.5 later on, as from what I understand, serveral installation and configuration issues seem to have changed in 0.5.
So, just a question, would you recommend waiting for 0.5 as a release is near, compile the github code for myself (would be a challenge, I think) or should I stick with 0.43 for a while and wait for a longer period for 0.5?

Upgrading from 0.4.3 to 0.5 should be painless, except that it'll remove your WebMediaPortal settings.. that shouldn't be too big a problem though, as it are only ~10 settings.

Also, for the few people reading this thread, I hope to be able to finish the development of 0.5 up in the next ~3-4 weeks, and I'll start the testing process after that. The final version will be out before the end of September, but hopefully sooner. I'm sorry it took so long; I tried to put in too much stuff for too long...
