Any way to use external 5" TV for secondary OSD display? (1 Viewer)

I would like to display OSD information from Media Portal 1.4 on a small external CRT screen using the video input on a little portable TV. I want the info to display all the time, specifically the time elapsed\time remaining for videos, preferably large enough to read across the room. I already have the little screen set up in Windows XP Pro SP3 as a secondary monitor.

Has anyone ever done anything like this successfully, and if so, how? Any thoughts would be appreciated, and thanks in advance.

I use LCDSmartie with VirtualLCD.dll and MP.dll.
