I'm trying to set up my remote MCE keys so that I can jump directly to certain windows / plugins. for instance when pressing the guide key it takes me directly to the TV EPG Guide.

I'm using intelliremote so I can emulate keyboard presses when I hit the button on my remote and have been directed to the shortcut'er plugin but I can't get anything to work with it, has anyone using this skin found any solutions? I've tried in the input section of the forum but I'm not getting any real help there...
    :D

I used to use shortcut'er but there is a better way if your using an mce remote
just edit the mce remote mappings xml file in the inputdevices folder
then you can change the ID# to point to whatever plugin you want to load

Thanks for getting back to me (again!) but I'd already tried that, my MCE buttons don't seem to do anything that Media Portal recognises, I'd already tried to change the values in the media portal config app under the MCE mappings.

    I'll keep digging!
