Hi guys

@morpheus_xx Contacted me recently and asked if i could put something together for MP2 based on my skin OnePortal and work with him to realise it, so as requested here are a couple of mockup shots to show the design i am going for.
Let me know of any ideas you might have on things to include etc.

Ok guys quick question, i have added another shot in the original post and wanted to get your opinions on which tile label you prefer, the straight black ones or off white angled labels ?

Personally, I like those more, because I expect angled labels containing metadata like favorite, recently added/new, unwatched or things like that.

Of course these are items where those information are not available, but the items title/label design might be consistent for those categories and the media items (movie A, series B, ...) as well, so for those items the angled lables might look strange, especially if title is longer.

Nevertheless I am not good in design stuff, so there are other who can judge it way better and again: Thanks for working on it.
I love the "integrated" design (no frames, ...) of the movie list in combination with metadata.

I'm also for the straight ones for the same reason as @chefkoch: if the title is longer then the available space and has to be scrolled, I guess it wouldn't look that good with the angled ones. And I also agree that these labels should mark something like new stuff or favorites. There they would fit perfectly.

I guess this is where users and designers clash, i think users come to expect certain elements to be used in specific situations. Myself i'm Switzerland i see the positives and negatives of both .
