Maybe have it as a setting as i would rather hit my context button on remote to select audio track, current time could be on the right of the buttons, ideally i would like the time elapsed labels to be current time and time movie will end but its all personal preference i guess.

IMHO, having a text block that wide is hard to read. It might be a trade-off to prevent unnecessary scrolling for shorter media summaries, I dunno.

I fixed my problems, now I'm back on track

OSD getting into shape. Few things needs to be changed though: screen navigation (back) and power button for mouse/touch usage. Where to place them? We could move them to top left, where in other screens the breadcrumb bar is.

Next major thing to change: while video is playing, it still uses fullscreen background video:

I have created two different styles, one for primary and one for secondary. I'm missing a progressbar style. It should be different to OSD because of the bright background and much less space. Should I try to let it look like in your older design, or do you want to create something different?

Top left is probably the best place i will take a look tomorrow.
For sure the video needs changing it looks terrible being fullscreen, the screenshot with the players you posted is still correct

But what are you displaying next to the TV Video? Shouoldn't there be ZDF and not The DVD Cover? How abot putting the cover away from the Video? Just as example what I mean.

If you are so exact, there has to be "Die Rosenheim Cops" Cover and also the text "Die Insel" is wrong then...

The poster needs to stay attached to the player as it breaks the design being detached, its behind a bit too far in the screenshot but as morph mentioned previously he will be fine tuning things like that once the main skin is together.

I think a lot of people will start to move over to mp2 once this is finished, i think a big part of people avoiding it is the lack of a skin that makes it shine to show what it can do.
