Aspect ratio problem? (1 Viewer)

I tried to look after this issue, and checked about 5 pages of threads, but couldn't find the solution, and really sorry, but can't seek for it on 60+ pages.
In MediaPortal the MP-TV Series makes the view kind of weird.
Looks like it's zoomed in, or don't know. I use Moving Pictures too, and this issue doesn't appear in that plugin.
Made 3 screenshot. The first and second one made using MP-TV Series, and the third one made without MP-TV Series, loaded from the root "Videos".

It looks like the video is not cropped or zoomed, only the skin overlay is displayed incorrectly.

I guess this is s skin bug, try an another one with MT-TVSeries Plugin support (like standard Bluewide?).

Tried it, and does the same.

Don't understand it...can't see the volume bar in none of the skins.
Already tried 3 skins, but all of them have bugs, when I use MP-TV Series, and run without problem in Moving Pictures.
How come? Shouldn't these plugins had to use the same settings and codecs?

what resolution is your screen/tv set to?

try reproducing the problem then posting all your logs.

They all rely on MediaPortal to do the actual playback.

So use MyVideos to play the file as well, if output is correct with that one, then provide your debug enabled MP-TVSeries.log file (preferably all log files as mediaportal.log might show more information) that contains playback in both situations (so the log files contain the information needed).

Try Blue3Wide skin as well, see if your problem goes away.

Well, with Blu3Wide skin, the problem doesn't appear, but I can't find MP-TVSeries in it.
I can only browse the videos. So it works like when I use the "Videos" option instead of "TV Series" in every other skin.
Cause like I said, this problem only appears when I'm in the "TV series".
Gonna try to do this log with debug enabled.

In MediaPortal configuration -> Codec And Renderer -> Video Renderer, are you using VMR9? It appears like so in Log and I have heard about weird stuff before when people use that option.

If you are using VMR9, can you try EVR.

O f*ck...this was the problem. Thanks for the advice!
I remember changing this setting, beacause of acting weird sometimes.
When I was watching 1080p movies, the picture crashed sometimes, and started to "lagging" (I don't know how to say it, just remember this expression from my Counter Strike years. Hope you understood it). And it's pretty intresting, because I have a Core 2 Duo E6750 CPU, so there should be no problem with playing 1080p.

Gonna test it and see if there are any other chance to avoid this picture problem.

Actually on pure software decoding, that CPU can have a tough struggle to deal with high bitrated 1080p video when other background tasks need to be done. Special software decoders such as CoreAVC, which is one of the fastest software methods, are then needed to use a CPU for the decoding of the video.

But a $15+ videocard however with UVD (for AMD), PureVideo (for nVidia), or HD Graphics (Intel) decoding capability will not even break a sweat to decode the same videos. The best one right now is UVD3 from AMD as it also offloads all the decoding for XviD onto the GPU. But unfortunatly the cheap HD6000 series cards that support UVD3 are not available yet.

The new CPUs from AMD (Brazos) and Intel (certain Core i3/5/7 models) don't even require a videocard anymore for high bitrate decoding of both video and audio due to an internal graphics unit.
