Aspect ratio settngs in MP setup have no effect (1 Viewer)

am I right in thinking the aspect ratio settings in MP television setup have no effect in TVE3?

Just checked and yes all 7 available in Movies too although only 4 selected in MP setup! Is it decoder based or does it just not work at the moment?
