No, it doesn't suffer from that neither does it provoke GUI "crashes".
You might run into a resume issue though where the NIC doesn't manage to reestablish a connection. This would be "indicated" by a no longer responding GUI if the TV-Server cannot be contacted...

    Many thanks.

I feel loathed to give Mr Gates any more of my cash for Vista. Vista would be my last resort.

I do have HD and SD pictures running smoothly (only occasional micro judder apparent only on slow pans). Lots of tweaking to do. So many settings, so many permutations.

I dont think I have resume issues, I have disabled all such standby things. Maybe I need to disable them some more.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll start a thread elsewhere rather than polute your fine thread with non 690G talk.

    Best regards

I know Powerstrip is an option, but I was hoping to do 50 Hz without 3.party SW.

Could you tell me how you tweaked the color settings? I know a good picture when I see it, but I'm not good at finding it....

    XML's (only) for latest Foofaraw

    Hello Spragleknas,

It seems the dump.no link for the foofaraw edited with no flipy doesn't work. I have been using the noflipyxface for months now, and it's been working awesome. I want to switch to foofaraw now though.

I am just trying to get by with my 690g until I order this guy, GA-M78SM-S2H, with the new GeForce 8200 IGP:
    GIGABYTE - Product - Motherboard - Overview - GA-M78SM-S2H (rev. 1.0)

So whenever you get a chance, thanks.

Hi rtv - doesn't really fit into this thread, but is there any chance to avoid those freezes, if the client cannot find the tv-server? At least a (maybe configurable) timeout - so everything else can be used, even if the tv-server crashed or is unavailable?

Thanks for all the good work and regards,
    Guzzi

Has anybody other than Angelodv manage to try the very latest Catalyst drivers (8.5) on Windows XP? Apparently they do fix all the issues with flipY, hence no need to change the skins anymore...

One question: are reflections actually working with 8.5 and WinXP or MP simply doesn't crash but still no reflections (as with 7.2, at least on my Radeon Xpress 200 System)?

    Thanks,
    X
