The secret to success with the AIW cards is to view the pin in/outs on the required filters and ensure you have selected the correct ones for the filter construct xml.

Each card and driver can have different pin assignment.

What you need to post is the MediaPortal.log .

Also view via graphedit while MP is running what is actualy happening will also point to which filter is the problem ie it is the first filter that isn't showing while MP is running .

Having looked at your attached graphs there are filters present that shouldn't be there and will not work with MP.Do not pick filters addhoc.

Just use the ones from the filter construct and check their pin assignments.

ATI MPEG Audio Encoder and MPA Decoder Filter shouldn't be part of the graph construct.

If the ATI filter are going to work then the ATI T200 AVStream Analog Capture pin3 should connect direct to the ATI Media Center Audio Encoder pin0

    Thanks for helping out, SciDoc.

What do you make of the capture filter with the missing output pins? Any idea what could cause this?

I'm thinking that nbarzgar may need to do a complete uninstall and re-install of the drivers.

From the pics he posted it looks like some unecessary modifiaction of the xml filter construct has been done as MP will not choose random filters.

The filters that are actualy requred look fine.

The filter construct in the MP xml file; find one that matches the device id and then check the pin assignment .

Usualy one pin is out and needs changing from '4' to'3' depending on which T200 drivers have been installed.

As for your continuous sound problem , you don't have the audio passthrough cable connected to your sound card as this isn't required!?

Come to think of it, I never asked him to post his card entry in the xml file.

nbarzgar - Please post the CaptureCard Definitions file entry for your card.

Huh? I thought that it needed it to get the sound. I'll give it a try without the audio cable.

If you are using the T200 or the WDM-NSP drivers then the sound is carried across the AGP bus or pci-e bus and no pass through cable is required. (which is the old method used with the WDM-SP drivers and MMC prior to 9.02)

Removing the cable should stop your problem and also with some sound cards remove an unwanted echo.
