I am forced to using ffdshow and not ATI's h/w decoding & deinterlacing. When using h/w deinterlacing, the TV video does not fill the entire screen, a large black border surrounds the video and the size of this varies between some channels. Noticeably some of the Discovery channels have a much smaller video size, it literally does only take up about 50% of my 42" 1080P display...
I have double checked and my GPU output is set to 1920x1080 with deinterlacing turned on...
Any ideas? I tried tackling this problem in the past and arrived at a dead end, I'm hopping I can finally sort this problem out which will also lead to my non-smooth picture problems...
