I deleted the old version, deleted the database, installed the latest (17523) and then scanned for channels.

Now, instead of getting "no audio/video" it now says "unable to start graph", and there are still "unknown" versions of most channels. For some channels where there was previously a named and an unknown version, there is now only an unknown version of the channel. The "unknown" version, if available, still tunes fine.

Oddly, if there is not an "unknown" counterpart to a channel, it will now show a preview of the channel in the server management console, but in the mediaportal player it says "unable to start graph" (previously it would give a no audio/video type message, so you're definately making progress:)). If there is an unknown version of the channel, it says "unable to start graph" in both the server management console's preview and in mediaportal when you try to play the version of the channel with the correct name.

I hope that makes sense. I can post any logs, just let me know what you need.

I get the same thing "unable to start graph". But before I was able to tune the next 2 channels that were green, now I get a error when trying to tune them.

Here are the logs of my full scan on 17524. I seem to be getting 45 channels but all the ones with names on them, I can't tune to. The ones that say unknown 15-30 work. Seems really strange. Let me know what other logs you need or just jump on my pc to take a look.

This is definitely a big improvement! My red channels now work fine with the exception of one. I'm only getting two of the "Unknown" channels now, but they work as well. The odd part is that, for example, 36.1 and 36.2 are scanned/added perfectly fine and tune no problem. The only channel I'm having a problem with is 27. Both 27.2 and 27.3 get added as unknown and work fine, but 27.1 gives me an "unable to create graph" error. What's even stranger is that the scan actually finds 5 channels on that frequency: WKYT (27.1), CWKYT (27.2), RADAR (27.3), Unknown, Unknown. Those two unknowns are actually CWKYT and RADAR. None of those three named channels are tuneable, though, only the Unknowns. WKYT (27.1) doesn't get added as an unknown and, again, isn't tuneable. 27 is the only channel that I can get that has 3 subchannels so I'm wondering if that's related since it's the only channel this happens on. Again, 36 only has two subchannels and both are added and tuneable. Has anyone else noticed this problem when you have 3 subchannels on a specific frequency?

I just tried the most recent SVN (17566) And It has scanned in more QAM channels then I have ever gotten before.

I'm still missing a couple, and the Red dots still come up with the wrong CallSigns, but some of them preview as a completely different channel.

I've attached a screenshot of my results, an example of this is the "WSYR-DT" comes up as "UnableToStartGraph" but is actually on the "Weather Plus" Channel that's in red. The "Weather Plus" channel is actually the 685250-50 channel. All of the channels on that Frequency (685250) are there, just jumbled.

The main problem is the next frequency (691250) According to My HD TV, and the QAM Source at SiliconDust (on the bottom of the page), There are 5 channels on this frequency.
    The WCNY-2 previews as "UnabletoStartGraph"
    The WTVH-DT previews as WCNYDT
    The Unknown-691250-40 previews as WCNY2
    The WCNY-3 previews as CREATE
    The WCNY-HD previews as "UnabletoStartGraph"
And the last unknown previews as WCNYDT4

WTVH-DT (The CBS Affiliate, isn't found, and following the order on the silicondust site, it should show up as the WCNY-HD site.

[edit]I don't know if this will be any use, but this is what GBPVR has when it finds WTVH-DT with a scan
    T:107,5,1~P:4~V:17~A:20~PMT:16~PCR:17~N:>5.1 WTVH-1 (000(AC3))
    [/edit]

I've attached my logs of this scan which include the scan and previews of WSYT-DT, and Weather Plus channels.

I appreciate all the work that you have done with helping to fix these ATSC/QAM issues!

    Thanks!

    It is working much better!

It is scanning all my local channels now and I can timeshift them on my client. BUT they still are showing up as scrambled channels and the scrambled ones are showing in the clear.

I can manually remove the scrambled channels and use these ones, but the handy "delete scrambled" button deletes good and leaves bad channels. :)

    Good Work
