I deleted the old version, deleted the database, installed the latest (17523) and then scanned for channels.
Now, instead of getting "no audio/video" it now says "unable to start graph", and there are still "unknown" versions of most channels. For some channels where there was previously a named and an unknown version, there is now only an unknown version of the channel. The "unknown" version, if available, still tunes fine.
Oddly, if there is not an "unknown" counterpart to a channel, it will now show a preview of the channel in the server management console, but in the mediaportal player it says "unable to start graph" (previously it would give a no audio/video type message, so you're definately making progress). If there is an unknown version of the channel, it says "unable to start graph" in both the server management console's preview and in mediaportal when you try to play the version of the channel with the correct name.
