There is the MPAR audio renderer that use WASAPI, if I'm not wrong, but has some issues, you can give a try (y)
Other than that I didn't have something else.

By MPAR, Do you mean audio renderer? Then in CODECS AND RENDERER ---> AUDIO RENDERER ---> select MEDIAPORTAL AUDIO RENDERER?
I currently use Default DirectSound Device.

If there are problems, however, I leave it alone. Mediaportal was not born for listening with headphones

Like you can see, there is Exclusive mode, so you can give a try ;)

Headphones can work, you have to set volume on Windows to the max :)

    Thanks for the reply.
I prefer not to touch anything. I leave things as they are. Because I use the PC both with headphones and with the Home Cinema system. I don't wish there were any problems if I change the audio renderer.
Also because if in MediaPortal Audio Renderer I change the settings of the exclusive mode I should remember to restore the changes when I see a movie without headphones. Do not you think?
