Audiostream preselect? (2 Viewers)

Hi,

trying again the newest TVServer, it will start allways in mpeg audiostream.
i have to manualy switch to the ac3 stream.

Is there a way that AC3 is allways select first? In a recording, i think due to this behaviour, there is no AC3 at all.

I think i read something about it on the forum before, but cant find it anymore.

What you have to do is the following:
1. Open MediaPortal Setup
2. Go to the PlugIns menu (at the bottom of the left hand side)
3. Right click on "MyTV" plugin
4. Select "Configuration"
5. Select the checkbox "Prefer AC3"

From now on AC3 should be selected automatically, if available.

Regarding your recordings:
You always can change the audio stream by doing the following:
1. While playing the file, select the OSD
2. One option is "Select audio"
3. here you find the different audio streams

OK, have another problem regarding the recorded files.

Watching TV select now the right stream, but can i select witch one is recorded?
They are allways recorded that the english audiostream is playing first, and the AC3 stream is missing (only mpg german is available).

Any ideas about that?

If you don't need the .mpg format, use the .ts one. It records all available audio streams.

hm, will try that. and see if the ac3 is there then.

but why is it missing in the mpg? and how can i select the replayed stream in a recording? allways changing the stream when start viewing a recordíng is anoying....

Press F9 or whatever the context menu is linked to on what you use to control MP and choose "Audio language".

It doesn't select the AC3 stream by default, seems like the plugin is for TV only. Not sure this will be changed before the stable release as we are in "RC mode" already.

Sorry, didnt mean the selection of the audistream when i view a recording. Allready have it on a button on my rermote, but thnx.

Just thought it would be good to preselect the wanted stream before recoding, like its done in the tv-plugin for live TV.

And it would be good to preselect the stream for watching movies, just a dropdown/checkbox to mark wich stream is to select first.
