1. Looks like the beamer has a USB-Interface for sending commands from a PC. Do you have any information about the command set?
2. Movies should be always recognized.

@Knightro: Please extract and start SSDP.exe (Your LG TV must be on!). This will list the UDAP/2.0 answer of your TV to the SSDP request.
Then I can compare it to the values that the LG Smart TV Emulator returns. Maybe there is someting different.

It provided a pairing key which didnt work in the config... guessing something needs to be recompiled.
