You have to replace the MediaPortal.exe and the Core.ll, otherwise the screen remains dark. So instead of re-installing, just copy the MediaPortal.exe from the Auto3D 1.6 post-version to the MediaPortal directory (and don't forget to rename the existing one before).
Concerning the BRAVIA problem: Can you post your log files?

Attached are 3 log files; I hope they are the correct ones. I did rename-copy the two files and now of course MP starts fine. Still no luck registering the Sony XBR 55X850A, though. The logs should show 2 sessions: 1 around 6 pm, and then after your reply, 11:15 pm or so.

Looks like the URL I use to register the client is not valid for your device. I will add some loggings to the Sony part to find out what's going wrong.
Will post it here the next days.

Hi Marcus,

I just bought an LG smart TV, 47LA621Y, which is not supported by the plugin yet.
1. How can I tell if it is possible for this model?
2. How can we add support for it? I'm willing to debug the code myself if needed.

When I tried any other supported LG device in the plugin, it shows an IP 192.168.*.* which is not my TV's IP. I'm guessing you somehow trying to locate the TV on the network, so maybe there's a firewall issue, or the search is not suitable for my TV.

There are 2 remote apps for ANRDOID and iOS from LG. If it can be controlled with the app, there is a good chance to get it working with Auto3D.

The Android remote works perfectly.

Can you support the following strings in name detection?

• "3D OU" (over under), same as "TAB".
• "3D HOU" (half over under), same as TAB.
• "3D HSBS" (half SBS), same as SBS.

Hi Yoav,
the sequences and their names are fix at the moment, because they are given by the XML schema I had defined for the devices' sequence storage.

To be more flexible I would have to rewrite the complete code of the Sequence-Mananger.
I can do this after MePo 1.7 is ready, because for 1.7 there are already to much things I have to finish.
