Same problem here with MP1 and Vista. To bad! The mouse curser stays constant visible in the midle of the TV-picture.

You can always try using BZHider (attached).

It automatically hides the mouse cursor after ~5 seconds by moving it to the top right hand corner of the screen.

I use it even though I'm still using 0.2.3.0 stable as sometimes the mouse would just reappear for a couple of seconds in the middle of the screen and then just disappear again...

Sorry, totally forgot about the language, translation:
Somebody said that HZ hider is not a buddy to Vista x64, or?

I also have it using RC2 and Vista. I have selected to blank the screen on inactivity in MP and then the cursor is still visible which my plasma does not like...

    Hi,

I found a very easy way to solve this issue:

There is a little freeware named "Mausraus.exe", you can find it here

    ftp.heise.de/pub/ct/listings/0407-192.zip (Source code is included)

What it does: When you start it, it sends the mouse cursor to the lower right corner, where you can't see it anymore. That's all. End of program, duty fullfilled.

Now, I made me a little batch file which first calls this tiny program and then starts MP. So my cursor is out of sight whenever I call MP. There is no further software necessary running in the background to get this effekt.

Vista-users: I don't know if it also works under your system. But I think it could be worth a try.

It works perfectly on my XP SP3 with MP RC2.

Maybe this easy functionality could be included in future MP versions as an option to hide the mouse?

    Regards,
    Michael

I installed the rc2 and changed the language to hungarian. After it the pointer of mouse was visible. When i reinstalled the all of mediaportal I did not change the language. In this case the pointer was hide.

    So it works now.

I got the cursor visible constantly too now on 1.0, while other players hide it.. I have no idea why but I didn't change the language, in case it helps finding the fault. Logs are empty during playback but if you need anything I can fetch it.
