    Heya mediacowboy :)

Will this affect anything done for the cable card area? I believe I have a hybrid as I can use one card to do analog and digital. But before I go testing stuff i don't want to break the cable card fix.
Yes, this DLL is not compatible with the CableCARD patch. If you install it on top of the CableCARD patch it will break your install. You'd have to rollback to the MP 1.4 base (ie. temporarily remove the CableCARD patch) then repatch with this DLL in order to perform the test.

@breese, as per my response to mediacowboy, this is not compatible with the CableCARD patch. Please read one post up from yours. ;)

So the code detects that your tuners are hybrid. :)

Is there anyway to get a special path for people with cable cards as well? I deleted the original files after getting the cable card working.

Looking at your system specs you have the PRIME and an HVR-2250, yes?
The log files Matt just posted are for his 2250, so I think it would be fairly safe to say that your one would also be detected automatically.
So no need to test I think... :)

Anybody else reading this, please take a moment to help us out here:

I'm hoping we can at least get some results with a Digital Devices Cine CT. :)

    Here you go.

The first logs I collected are without enabling the DVB-T function in the DD Config tool.
The second logs are with DVB-C and DVB-T both enabled in the DD config tool ;)

But if I read your logs correctly it doesn't detect the cards as hybrid, you will probably read more from the logs than me :p

Yep, you're right - detection fails... so I'll try to contact Digital Devices and ask them if they can either implement the TunerInstanceID or tell us how we can do automatic detection for their tuners. I note that we have some info from them already, but it isn't enough to do full automatic detection.
