Please, everybody else is welcome to test as well. Your results are useful even if you don't have any hybrid/combo tuners.

MM, Is there any specific testing you would like to see?
If not I will do my norm: Clear logs and channels, scan OTA and then scan Wow Cable.
By chance, will this tell me if the model card I have can do Radio? Not important but would be nice to have...

You don't need to do anything other than stop the service, install the patch, start the service, then post the logs. I've added debug info to the tuner detection code which runs when the service is started. Nothing else is changed.

You're talking FM radio, right? (Digital OTA and cable radio are guaranteed to be supported if such channels are available.)
No, it won't tell you that... but if you post your analog configuration directory I might be able to tell you.
    1. Open TV Server configuration.
    2. Click "open log directory" in the top left corner.
    3. Go up one folder level.
    4. Zip up the "AnalogCard" directory and post/attach the zip file here.

Note: you need to have attempted to scan or tune analog TV or radio channels in order for me to be able to determine whether the tuner supports FM radio.

Are you using this patch in combination with the cablecard patch?
if so you have to uninstall the cablecard patch first :)

    MM,
Here is the radio scan files
    Things to note:
Clicking on Radio Channels Kills the Radio Scan.
Durring the scan, the analog is connected to the OTA antenna on my roof, same connection as my Am/Fm Amp.
At no time did it see / show any signal in MP

As for the cablecard patch, I took "Everyone else" to mean just that, so I sent those other files...

    Hello again breese

According to the tuner configuration XML (which is generated from the capabilities reported by the driver) the tuner is capable of tuning FM radio... however the evidence from your scan and the product info are more definitive. I suspect the hardware is capable but support has not been implemented in the driver for whatever reason. The product page Hauppauge website certainly has no mention of radio. I can't think of anything that I could do to provide a more definitive answer, so the best thing you could do is contact Hauppauge and ask.

As for the cablecard patch, I took "Everyone else" to mean just that, so I sent those other files...
Our wires have crossed there. :)
Any patch I supply for MP 1.4 is incompatible with the CableCARD patch (and vice versa). Providing a patch for the CableCARD branch is difficult because the tuner detection code is quite different. If you were able to temporarily revert to the standard MP 1.4 TVService.exe it would almost certainly allow the TV service to start and generate the debug info in the log files. You can immediately flick back to the CableCARD patch as no further testing will be required.

I heard back from my Hauppauge contact again unexpectedly, and he was able to propose a solution for the HVR-1300.
    So, updated patch attached. :)
@azzuro please could you try this patch again?

    PS: not CableCARD compatible
