Automatically select shows with : in the name (1 Viewer)

Hi

I havent been able to figure this out, i have read all the FAQ etcs but have not found the answer

Bascially im trying to name the shows so they are nice and tidy, so it never has to pop up and ask if that is the correct show

some shows have a : in the name on thetvdb.com, such as Star Trek: The Next Generation or CSI: Crime Scene Investigation

Since you cant put a : in the filename as its invalid to match it exactly to thetvdb.com, how do you do it, so it will automagically select the correct show from thetvdb.com without it prompting to select the correct show?

I have tried Star Trek The Next Generation Star Trek - The Next Generation and similar, but it still prompts to select the correct show, which im trying to avoid.

You can add a string replacement e.g.

CSI - > CSI: Crime Scene Investigation
CSI NY -> CSI: NY

etc

In the next version that should auto match without the replacement.

sweet i will just rename with without the : then if the next version will sort that

I use ; char myself in the filenames, and then have a single string replacement rule to turn ; into : (with 'before' enabled).

yep was just trying to avoid having to use a string replacement so i didnt have to do it on every mediaportal client,
