Autoplay CD (1 Viewer)

I'm having te same problem. Did a fresh install yesterday, but that didn't solve the problem. Is there any news on this patch?

Well, i've submitted a patch a few days ago and it looks it is in CVS. So it should be in the next build.
(didn't test it yet from cvs)

DVD not starting ...

the good news: I installed the CVS from yesterday (15.1.) and DVD autostart is working again ... hooray

the bad news: to all DVD's I tested (3) MP says 'cannot play DVD' (or whatever the error message is).

Anybody the same experience?

I just tried CVS 01-16-2006--01-07 and it all works fine for me.....

I recall a similar problem to what you describe which I think was caused by the particular DVD navigator that you have configured - the only one that I find as reliable is the Windows XP default "DVD Navigator" - give that a try?

Autoplay

Hi all,
with latest CVS of 2006-01-17 Autoplay does work , ... nearly.

Here are the issues I found:

- Audio CD : Autoplay ok, then playing an audio Cd hooks up the complete GUI. Also happens with 'normal' playing of CD. no not necessarily a problem of Autuplay

- DVD: Autoplay 'ASK' pops up the dialogue twice.

( + lots of other problems in this latest CVS builds )

it works!

I had the NVidia Navigator activated. I changed to the "original MP Navigator" and DVDs start now ...

Autoplay : DVD- 'ASK'- dialogue pops-up twice

CD- audio workds perfect with latest CVS. Problem was in strings.xml
DVD 'ASK' dialogue still pops ujp twice:

So there are really 2 events for the DVD. I checked the CD handlers of XP, but all were set to 'no action'.
