Avallanche - Old version for MP1.3 and earlier (3 Viewers)

Avallanche and MP1.4 ... basically working but tons of issues ...
As I tend always to have the latest untested and not productive very early version of everything running on my system – totally ignoring that stability and reliability might suffer – well – here I am again …
What I did beforehand was replacing every XML entry titled “togglebutton” with “checkbutton” – after the first few files where I couldn’t see any relevant entry I did it on bulk. The result – of course – was strange – special in the settings now the graphics for the togglebuttons are there and the checkbutton next to them – no idea if it is working (and to be honest – no idea if it was even necessary …)
Well – the good thing – Avallonis and Avalanche in their current setup are reported as “OK” for the GUI. Still I had experienced some issues:
- MP wont stat start – stuck at the splashscreen
- MP stucks at “waiting for TV Service”
- Stop-Button not working
- No sound when starting playback
All are solvable by kicking MP via Task manager and start it again. No idea why sometimes it works and sometimes – well – not …
If some more experienced skinner want’s to go over the files – would be great.

Don't know if this helps...but you would need to look at\change the "<textureFocus>" and "<textureNoFocus>" entries...this is probably why you are seeing both the toggle and checkbuttons at the same time.

-> During Setup. When you choose "leave selected Skin" the installed ones are checked

Maybe @sweborn can help here...he's been releasing the MPEI files.
Not having used Streamed MP can't help here...are you referring to ClearArt/ClearLogo images? Might be better asking on the StreamedMP forum.

Not having used Streamed MP can't help here...are you referring to ClearArt/ClearLogo images? Might be better asking on the StreamedMP forum.
No I mean the fanart backdrops. You can check in editor that they seem like zooming in, then zooming out.

In meantime I got the so called KenBurns-Effect for Fanart in BasicHome working. But I got some problems. Does anyone know how to fix the overlapping fanart as seen in the attached picture? I will also upload a small video later that day. I tried with editing pngs and xmls, but no chance...
If someone is interested in trying and improving with more editing "skills", I'd really appreciate it

Did not try it - but it seems as if the fanart is set after the menue in the xml - so moving the entries for "neueste Filme" below the fanart entry should solve this.

The window on the right housing the "recently added" info is actually made up of two PNG files..."basichome_top_menu_bg_drop.png" and "basichome_top_menu_bg_drop_fill.png". Looking at your video it looks like your fanart comes before the "basichome_top_menu_bg_drop.png" but after "basichome_top_menu_bg_drop_fill.png". Re-arranging the layers order as pur_berger states should solve this.
