Question for the skinners ... do think it is possible (and makes sense) to put at the TV Infobar instead of the "After" text the timebar of the running program like you have it at the EPG Guide? Probably even selectable so you can set record or reminder directly from there?

Does the same thing happen if using Defaultwide, if it does then it is not a skin issue as cannot see a skin causing MP to crash.

As far as logs go, its easier to run the debug mode in your start menu and include all logs in zip file.

these are my logs, when i go to coverflow it just stops responding.

When i do exactly the same steps with defaultwide it just works.

there are a couple of small errors showing in logs, but nothing that abruptly stops MP in its tracks, timeline in logs really do not show anything abnormal happening, even down to last statement waiting for windows own standby to kick in.

One of the errors is not being able to connect to ForTheRecord, do you have any problems normally with that.

no, no problems at all. great then. What in theory could happen, what does it do when the view changes to cover flow?

Just tested this out and yes if in MyVideos (shares selected) and chose coverflow, MP stops responding, cpu shows 50% use for mediaportal.exe, I'm baffled as to why, so here's my logs as well.

I have absolutely no idea. I'm still trying to get MP 1.2.3 perfected.

Ah - One Moment - the probelms with the skin are with 1.3 - in 1.2 it's working as expected

No matter...the xml's are a set of instructions to dictate what is shown...they do not contain the actual data themselves.

Apologies....have been busy with work and life but is still on my "to do" list.

I've upgraded to MP 1.3.0 and have (almost) finished skins for WW but seem to have run into a problem where my weather feeds were showing in MP 1.2.3 but not in 1.3.0. If I enter...... ......in the skin file, it returns...... If I change the entry to another property for checking...... ......it returns the correct value...... ​

Anyone have any suggestions?​
