Oh OK - i use this a lot ;-) from EPG to get some infos about a movie. What do you think about a cooler splashscreen ;-) it's too empty atm.

Personally i do not like splashscreens that are to busy. The one i designed is not boring but stylish and clean.
But if you have a great idea for a better one please let me know. I would be happy to make it for you.

Please keep it simple! About every skin out there ends up with the huge mistake of adding more and more pictures and stuff.

This skin is VERY slick and nice. I do like the way that the menus animate from section to section and I am REALLY looking forward to the full skin when its finished. (I realise this is a betta preview).
The other thing that I like about this skin is its speed. I have very large collections of movies and music and a lot of skins seem very slow for this, but not this skin.
Beautiful skin!!

Hi Avalon Team!

After switching from Backdrop (In MP-Config Backdrop is configured as skin) to Avalon inside MP, i get some strange issues:

1. Basic Home -> Please take a look at the screenshot!
2. Music database views aren't working!

If i configure Avalon as skin in MP-Config and then switch inside MP to Backdrop and back to Avalon all is working as exspected!
If you need any logs, please let me know!

Same problem here, although, there's no way back for me to Avalon. The items in the Basic Menu are unresponsive (=nothing happens, when I press ENTER), so I can't change the skin inside mediaportal. I have no way to activate the menu on the left side of the screen, so mediaportal can only be closed with Alt-F4
Tried a new Avalon-installation. Avalon is still broken. Uninstalled Avalon, installed it again - still broken

Oh! and I almost forgot to add, that I really liked this new skin - as long as it worked for me

first of all...this is an amazing skin and looks live even better than on the preview screens! i can only imagine how much work must have gone into creating this piece of art. thanks to the avalon team for doing this!

after using it this weekend, i noticed some things:

imo, one thing that doesn't work very well in this skin is the fanart displayed on the left side in listviews. someone else mentioned it already - if possible moving the fanart picture more to the left would help, so that more pictureinformation from the center is displayed, since most artist pictures are centered.

please make showing the rss feed on the home screen configurable - i personally don't like it.

is it normal that i don't see lyrics or album/artist info in the now playing screen? i can navigate to it, but no info is displayed. i guess it is one of the unfinished screens, right? when i go to the lyrics plugin via homemenu, it displays lyrics, however it crashes, once a trackchange occurs.

i also noticed missing german translations for moving pictures and tv series plugin. regarding moving pictures - i think the green "new" banner for unwatched movies is too prominent, also the word "new" doesn't fit very well - maybe an "unwatched" icon would suit better? would it be possible to make a trailer button in the movie details screen?

in many views there is a big text showing on the bottom right, for the currently selected item - imo this is way too big.

these are the things i remember now...

now if i would mention all the things i love about this skin, this would certainly be a veeeeery long read

The menu navigation (up and down) in Home screen seems to be quite "slow" and feels sluggish in my opinion, is there any way to make it faster and more responsive?

I finally have this skin setup all the way. Very very nice. The only thing I seem to be missing is support for Anime2 plugin. Hopefully you guys can add this sometime in the near future It's based off tv-series so hopefully it's an easy job. Thanks again for the great work.

does the auto hide feature of the poster not work for you? If we set the size of the fanart to the exact place we have it wouldn`t be looking nice. The height determined the width...

Lyrics become visible if you press "ok" when focused. But it`s not finish yet.
