Means you added some rows? Maybe you could upload this file

I can, the problem is I have screwed with font colors (love grey tones) and font sizes at the bottom (to fit the 10 rows) and positioning.
If you know how to edit xml files the following font colors were changed.
6aa5cb (blue) = 8f8f8f (grey)
85CFFE (blue) = d3d3d3 (grey)
As far as the button images yours will be OK.

Great! Sorry to ask again. But will we see Avalon ever on SVN? It would be easier to keep track for a lot of people who have local modifications.

First of all thank you for your very hard work!
It's still looking very nice!

But one thing I already missing:
In the litte info menu there is no statustext. So if I press any number to change the channel in liveTV I can't see what I pressed...
And with my plugin (ARC - Audio Renderer Changer) the setted renderer is not shown in the menu!
Is there something planned?

I'm a bit concerned. I just installed the update (using the plugin in Configuration.exe) and MediaPortal has started to behave really odd. I was watching a TV-Show with embedded subtitles, switched over to Basic Home, then hit the fullscreen button and now the subtitles were gone. When I hit my assigned button on the remote to bring them back, nothing happened. I then pressed Info and chose subtitles. MePo crashed.

This happened with a freshly restarted computer. I have since restarted once more, changed to StreamedMP and MePo is running fine. I'll try to test more tomorrow and also post logs should it act up again.

thx for the update =), you are doing a great job .

what ive noticed so far is:
there was this problem in the old version where the rating of a series was overlapping the mediainfos in tvseries episodeslist. you fixed it by showing the rating of the series instead of the mediainfos. well, to be honest i would prefere it the other way around, i'm not very interessted in the rating of the series anymore if i'm in episodes list, but i actualy care about the mediainfos of the selected episode. also by showing the rating the skin gets inconsitent, cuz you are showing mediainfos in movingpictures listview at the same position.


keep up the good work =)


ps. give rearanging/centering the backdrop/fanart another thought, i mentioned it before along with somebody else

Hiya,

I'm not sure if the issue that I'm having is Avalon related or something to do with my MePo install. Whenever I go into the plugins section no item is highlighted. I can move up and down on the remote but whenever I press OK it allways opens the sub central plugin. Is anyone else having the same issue with this skin or do I need to be looking somewhere else instead?

Really loving the update by the way. It feels a lot smoother and possibly even a bit quicker than before which is great for my little Atom powered pc

A couple of issues I spotted:

- in weather the fonts for the rest of the week other than today and for all temperatures are a much smaller size
- when chaining city in weather the name change isn't reflected straight away, but when you exit come back into weather you see the changed name
- on the home screen the last day of the weather overhangs its border and sicks out towards the edge of the screen
- in tv guide if I select IMDB on a movie, when the movie screen loads if I push left on my remote MP Crashes (will try and post logs in a bit am writing this on another computer)
- can you include the "Alpha" folder with the fanart for A-Z in the next release so if you have music views set up grouped by artist name or album name you can see which letter you are choosing in the icon and big icon views?
- in online videos if you have it set in list view the icons for channels are streched and apper to be expecting to be on a light coloured background 4od for example looks particularly bad (when you click into a channel it displays fine)
- also in online videos when the channel name starts scrolling at the bottom of the screen (in the list of channels view) it starts to get cut off earlier than the blue sub text below it

- also this one is personal preference really ... on the tv guide once the the episode synopsis text starts scrolling it moves too fast to keep up with (it's ok in other areas like MP-TV as the text has more space to scroll in

Great skin.

A few things i would like in future release:

1. Option to remove the green "New" symbol at moving pictures and my tvseries that shows on items you have not watch yet. It looks bad I think.

2. Option to remove the weather-text at the top of the main menu. If you don't have infoservice installed, it display kind of an error-text.

3. Fix the aspect-ratio in Online-videos for some pictures. If you go into apple video trailers, most posters are shown in a wrong aspect ratio.

4. Option to remove the "divx, mp3, hd, h264"-whatever icons that shows up when pressing info button when watching a video. Not very pretty, You need to keep it even more clean.

Other than this issues I think it's a great skin. Great work!

Sorry I forgot one color I changed. If you no how to edit the xml file change the following color in my file. I use Notepad++ (freeware) and do a find/replace.
a3a3a3(Light Grey)=6aa5cb(Blue)

In videos list view, long titles can extend outside of the area. See screenshot.
