You can enable latest series and movies in Plugins / Fanart Handler / Latest Media. It seems to be disabled by default for some reason.

For me the rating stars are also off. This is on a 720p resolution.

I believe that this skin is designed to be 1080p so anything less won't look right.

I'm runnig the skin on 1080p and the rating stars are off on that resolution, too.

The rating stars issue in tvseries was already reported in this thread. It will be fixed in the next release.

Hi everyone,

I've been using Avalon happily ever since its release, although there is one thing bugging me. In the Music Section, the two right windows take up a lot of space. In fact, so much space is used that there is hardly anything left to show backdrops of artists. I've added two printscreens to show you what I mean. Is it possible to give the backdrop some more space or make ithe two windows transparant or something?

Accessing recorded tv whilst live tv is playing still doesn't work. Live tv stays over the top.

Working fine here. I don't think this is a Avalon bug.

Hmm,

When I'm watching live tv and I press the recorded tv button all I get is the sound and thats it, live tv stays there but if i press guide and then recorded tv, it works.

I tried from fullscreen TV, and it worked fine. I also tried from TV home and it was also fine.

I am actually running Avalon with a couple of patches supplied by the development team (please don't ask for them - they will be in the next version) so it is conceivable that this was a problem in rev 354 but is now fixed.

I cannot go back from watching recorded tv to recordings neither, perhaps it could be down to the FTR skin files being used, not the standard tv ones, video is overlayed on top of menu, so video is not being moved to its normal small box.

Two minor problems with the TV OSD (not checked the video OSD).

Both are highlighted in the screenshot. The first is obvious - the pause icon is in the wrong place.

The second you need to test yourself. In the OSD, the audio indicator (circled) 'move' even when the TV is paused.
