I was having the same problem.
Fixed by going into Configuration > plugins
Open config on Latest Media Handler, SAVE
Open Avalon editor, SAVE

Hope this works for you.

I don't have the MP 1.2.0 RC installed yet still running beta so can't install latestmediahandler yet. Will have to upgrade I guess?

Upraded to 1.2.0 RC installed latestmediahandler and had to do what russmac8 said in his post now all is well.

I did find another bug, a while ago but always forgot to mention it. On some episodes the font of the description changes. I added a screenshot where you can see it, the first and the last line are different fonts, the easiest way to tell that these are 2 different fonts is to look at the a's. I dont know what couses the bug, as it only heppens on some episodes and not all, and there are no symbols involved that could couse problems or so on.

Also i loved the last update, i think that the way you are handling watched and unwatched in listview in series is not very great. I cant really tell what i watched and what not , i would have to look very close to make out if there is a 0 or something else in the column for unwatched episodes. Same in episodes list. Would be great if you could re add the blue color for watched stuff like it still is in movingpictures.

The listcolors were just an internal test. It seems i`ve forgot to remove them:sorry:

Hi Avalon Team!

Big for 0.9.5.431 Beta! Maybe i have found some possible issues:

1. Switching to Avalon from another skin inside MP GUI isn't working, Screenshot 1 and logs are attached!
2. Was it your intention, if i press i on the remote while watching TV, movie..., that immediately the complete Info overlay is shown? It has changed from last version! (Screenshot 2)

updated to latest avalon fanarthandler.dll also got updated but i don't have any latestmediahandler.dll. Do i have to install it manually?

@disaster: yep, just install it manually and it works like a charm...

helios: yes, I noticed that, too. And I think it is great as it is now. When whatching tv and pressing "i", I usually want to see the explanation of the movie or whatever is on tv. However, there's one thing to mention in that overlay: The first one or two sentences of the description are shown twice. It seems like these are some kind of a summary. Maybe this summary could be displayed in bold and there could be one line between the summary and the full description?

helios: changelog says it all:

[OSD] infos are now visible when info button is focused

And as for LatestMediaHandler: same thing here. I've updated via patch inside MP and LMH was missing after. I had to install it manually.

As already pointed out in this thread, this change was mentioned in the releasenotes. Unlike MJGraf, I'm not too fond of it though. Most often I press 'i' (or 'y' on the keyboard) just to see what time it is or when the current show ends. On the other hand, I wasn't that fond of the previous behaviour either (first 'i' and then 'ok', or 'y' and 'enter').

My preferred behaviour is the way Maya handles it; one 'i' brings up the basic information and a second 'i' the full overlay.

Hi,

firstly let me say how wonderful the skin is. I have noticed a slight issue todo with the large fonts.
I have the font installed on 3 PC's and on the HTPC which always uses large fonts all the fonts have suddenly gone alot smaller. The config says that the large font's are turned on. I have so far tried switching them to off and then rebooting media portal (no effect)
Turning them back to large fonts (no effect)

Please could you advise what I need to change / do to fix this as the default font is a little to small when watching on the TV.
