Hi,

firstly let me say how wonderful the skin is. I have noticed a slight issue todo with the large fonts.
I have the font installed on 3 PC's and on the HTPC which always uses large fonts all the fonts have suddenly gone alot smaller. The config says that the large font's are turned on. I have so far tried switching them to off and then rebooting media portal (no effect)
Turning them back to large fonts (no effect)

Please could you advise what I need to change / do to fix this as the default font is a little to small when watching on the TV.

Have you tried clearing the skin cache and then re-opening MP so that a fresh cache of the skin is installed?

Hi Eetaylog,

I have not, but will give it a try. I was just experimenting before (was trying to copy the XML files from the zip for the TV series fix from an earlier post) and thought I would have a quick look through the set of XML files in the skin folder.
I have found a work around - although not pretty, to fix the large font issue (note this worked for me on my PC and I don't expect it to work for everyone):
Open C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\skin\Avalon\
Search for fonts.large.xml and fonts.xml
Delete fonts.xml (or rename it if you really want - although there is a quick way to get the old fonts back if you need to)
make a copy of fonts.large.xml and then rename the copy to fonts.xml
you will now have large fonts in the skin


To revert back to normal fonts simply delete fonts.xml again
make a copy of fonts.normal.xml and then rename the copy to fonts.xml


Hope this helps others

found a little issue in the configoptions within mp. in skin options/misc if you wanna go to the last item (trailer search...) in the list by moving up in the list, this item is skipped. moving down all items works instead.

don't know if this one is really a bug, but once the new update was out i switched from maya to avalon and wanted to use its built in update feature which always led to "there is no update available" until i restarted the htpc/mp

anyway, great job so far! really nice skin. thx for improving mp

I like this skin and I add support for htpc info plugin.
I'm not a skin designner and this add isn't beauty but it's works

Hi, thanks first for this excellent skin.
I have downloaded the latest version but this update has something I think is not so good. I see that you made changes to watched-unwatched listing. Now there are icons in list view which I use for tv series. They are nice but why did you get rid of coloring for unwatched shows?
I think you should have made an even more contrast to series that have unwatched episodes, not make them all the same color.
It would be great to see that back, at least as an option?
Its the fastest way to see whats new for those who have automatic downloads and series populating...
