Ericjuh: If you are such a fanart fan, backdrop is probably best - aVAlon displays fanart as shown and there is no option. nocH is thinking about adding some slow animation (probably optional) I think.

Damn, too bad! Would loved to have this skin. Anyway, i still keep this skin in mind when i change my mind

Yes mbuzina, after posting I noticed that this is a general problem with weather on MP.
Any chance to get a simillar service in the future ??

Devs are hard at work in replacing the service with another one. I guess MP 1.2.2 will get an update on this area.

Idea for Avalon team.... what about making the poster backdrop transparent so a bit more of the fanart can be seen when posters are enabled? I played around with it for about 5 minutes and came up with a sample, but with some refining, I think this could be a good option. Would probably look better with the reflection for the poster disable. What do you all think?

The Showtimes plugin had a problem with displaying the movie times and title out of place. I fixed it and uploaded an updated xml.

hey, i have also a few questions:
i know where the backdrops are, but if i enable the plugin browsetheweb in the basic-menu there ist of course no backdrop.
how can i complement the menu-point with a backdrop !? same as the plugin rockstar in den submenu.
just copy a pic named web_default.jpg in the folder doesnt work.

every backdrop seems a little to big (see attached pic).
you can see a little stripe at the bottom. how can i correct this !?

and last: how can i make a menu-point as default.
so that everytime i turn on MePo or switch back to the basic-menu for example TV ist highlighted.

I also have the same problem, for me on the home screen most have this little strip of the image showing but some of them don't

The strip probably depends on your resolution (seems to be a rounding error).

Submenues do not have pictures (I think), you can only add pictures to a top item - do this in the avalon menu editor, just not select fanart, but select single picture.

I think the default is the first item in the menu editor - just shuflle the items.

In an earlier stage of Avalon we had this semi transparant panel. Exactly as you modded. For some reason we discarded that design. I will discuss this with our team and perhaps we can implement is again.
