if you move the slider all the way to one side it get stuck at that spot. (dumping skin catch don't do anything)
doing a full clean install of mediaportal and SMP won't reset it
it's not codecs starting a video and moving slider to zero it's fine but i have to move it back at the start of every video

so anyone know where the value is stored so i can hard reset it to zero ???

Updated

Can you reproduce this with the DefaultWide skin? This should be reported to MediaPortal if it's a bug with the slider control.

    Hi again

As I posted in the other thread you started (*please* don't cross-post), we don't store settings in the registry. It is possible to set an AV delay if you're using FFDShow as audio codec. That setting could be stored in the registry, but MP and TV Server settings are not stored in the registry at all. Check the MP config setting I mentioned in the other thread.

and have checked it to be at zero and it's is getting set to 50ms X 20 every time a video is started
if i had a way to shutdown one thread and leave the other alone i do it or move them all to one thread
