Avermedia A323AF Tuner card (4 Viewers)

I have been trying to build an ultimate HTPC mini system. Seneca case, Intel DH61AG MOB, i7 3770 CPU, special adapters to use the PCIe 4 channel header and a avermedia A323AF tuner card. All test well with WIN10 and WMC but DVD only. QUESTION is will MediaPortal work with the AVERMEDIA A323AF card and play Blue ray???

If the TV tuner works with WMC, it will work with MediaPortal to receive (and record) TV programmes that are not encrypted.

MP does not support FM radio tuners, so that part of the card will not work in MP.

MP can play DVD disks, and I think that it can play blu-ray, but I have no experience of the latter, so cannot comment on how well MP plays blu-ray (i.e. what quirks or restrictions apply to blu-ray). Perhaps someone who has used blu-ray with MP can comment?

Any idea where can I get the Windows7 installation software for this AverMedia A323AF card. I found the drivers for the A323 which is for the TV tuner, but from what I can understand the A323AF supports TV and FM tuner, so when windows detects the TV tuner and installs the default drivers the FM tuner doesn't work. Any guidance would be appreciated.

Although MediaPortal supports radio, it is only DVB radio -- the type that is broadcast embedded with the DVB TV signals. MediaPortal does not support FM radio tuners. (I have a vague recollection that Windows Media Center that is included with Windows 7 does support FM radio, so if you can find drivers for the A323AF, you could use WMC.)

Searching the internet does not seem to find any drivers specifically for the A323AF; only drivers for the A323 is listed. So I think that you are out of luck.

Since TAZMDVL put a system together using the AverMedia A323AF, I was wondering if he would guide me to get the drivers.

@Lusitano It looks like you can get the drivers here. Softpedia - Free Downloads Encyclopedia I've never used that particular site but they have been around for a while.

On a side note, I have an AverMedia Volar H837 but it's USB. US FM works on my server, no AM stations though.

Any idea where can I get the drivers? I can always try and if it doesn't work revert the system to an earlier restore.

When I went back and looked, it appears to be a DVB tuner driver. You might have to poke around there if this is not what you need.

Hi Gcarr, thanks for the reply, I downloaded the file and reinstalled it in Win7 Pro, it work, but only for the TV tuner and not the FM tuner. :-(.
It was worth trying anyway.
