this is travismeyer the dummy. I switched to composite, works great. boy do I feel silly. also I had the composite in the right audio connector, lucky i didnt blow the whole thing up. anyway, composite works, color is good and i am happy. I will test some more with the SVHS connection with everything in the correct connector.
