    Hi Helios61,

    Thanks for your feedback.

    1. The menu editor only allows you to have menus alongside eachother. That means you can have 1,2,3 and 4. But you cannot have 1,2,4 and 6 (with "holes"). If you want to center the menues you have the "center" option in the editor.

    2. If you want to edit submenus, first click the entry in the sublist. Then edit the values and finally press the >> button to update the values.

Please let me know if I missunderstood any of the questions.

    best regards

It makes sense to exclude menus that makes holes, but if you've for example already setup menus 3+4 and want to disable 1, 2, 5, 6, you can't do that anymore. As this is still an alpha release, it's would be great to have a popup first time you disable any menu that explains why to the user, or you're likely to get more of these reports. :D The "center menu" option works great!

I hope you're considering my suggestion of letting the user turn off the menu groups and only use the menu itself (like a fixed AEON style menu) and only six options.

    AW: Backdrop - Skin (RELEASED!!!)

    Hello.
I could not resist and have done a first User Mod to this great skin. As being honest, it's not really a Mod just add a line to basichome.xml and adjusted the xml.file delivered in this post. As a great feature of WOLPowerManager Now I can see the status of my main Media Server (it's not running TV Server as I use SingleSeat...) in Basic Home. The red light (as on screenshot) indicates the server is asleep. green means, the server is up and running.

    Edit:
The name of my server is "Spock" just if someone is wondering. All my PCs are named after StarTrek Characters...

    Hi,

About the "holes" in the menu. Have I missed something? Why would you want to create menus like 1,2 4,6? Just would like to know so I have not missed something here.

    best regards

    Hi Lehmden,

Thanks, would you like me to add this as an option to the menu editor?

    Hi cul8er.
That would be great... But then you should include the overlay xml file and graphics to installer package, if possible, to keep this simple for not so advanced users...
Why would you want to create menus like 1,2 4,6?
Maybe I can help.. He wants to keep menus generated earlier, just delete some not longer used menus. This will lead to those "holes".

if you've for example already setup menus 3+4 and want to disable 1, 2, 5, 6, you can't do that anymore.

Just #3 and #4 like I wrote above will make no more holes than using #1 and #2 with the "center" option. But it also means that I have to re-input all the menu choices (move #3 choices to #1 and #4 choices to #2). Your option is better though, but might need explanation as to why you all of a sudden can't edit some menus.

    EDIT:
In TV-Series (with Swedish language) the Writer label (bold) overlaps the names of the writers.

    Olli0815,

Can you please attach your BackdropMenuEditor.xml file. It is is located in the mediaportal data directory (where mediaportal.xml is and the skin folder is).

    best regards
