Background goes black and I can only see Icons (1 Viewer)

Hey Folks,

Been having this issue with MediaPortal v1.2.1 + StreamMP + Moving Pictures.

Tried posting in the help section with the debug logs but the folks there think its a skin related issue.
I attached the logs and a screen shot of what the issue looks like.

Looks more like a mediaportal texture manager issue or something wrong with your video card (maybe no powerful enough). You can first try update Direct-X and get the very latest Video Card drivers. See how you go. The error in log has nothing to do with StreamedMP though, if its working fine one moment then all of a sudden becomes a problem then its most like not a skin issue.

Hmm when you say not strong enough (Gpu wise) could changing the resolution of the skin to 1280 x 720 instead of 1080 do the trick? Using a laptop connected to a TV. The Gpu is an Nvidia GT220m and I remember that 1600 x 1200 is the max resolution I think.

That is always a good way of testing a gpu, also trying a less graphically demanding skin, ie defaultwide will show if it is skin related.
