Hi Patrick

Looks nice this plugin and thinking of getting some X10 stuff to

Only one question for me it would be really great if this would work on the TV-server.
So that everything keeps running even if you turn of the HTPC.
So that you have a server client setup like the TV server

Anyway Great work and plz keep it up :D

Thanks!

Nothing should stop running b/c of this plugin just because you turn off the HTPC.
This plugin is just allowing you to control devices.

The only advantage to running a form of this plugin on the server would be to share the database between clients and there is nothing in MP ATM to
do this. (Would be nice though)

Thanks again,
patrick

Hello:

I have a CM11A device (230v)

Can i create and "store" macros on my CM11A?

Hi,

The macros are stored in MP to execute the specified commands.
The macros were intended to execute a series of commands on one
or more devices with a single "click".

Thanks,
patrick

Thank you, Patrick!

First, let me say thank you for this great plug-in. Exactly what I was looking for and certainly enhanced the "cool-factor" of my MP installation by a lot...not to even speak about the usefulness, because this became my main source for lighting scenes in my X10 installation, as the macro's work just wonderful.

The only improvement I wish for, and if I get some time in the near future will definitely look into it myself, is a skin that will work better on BlueTwo Wide. I am sure there are not that many adjustments needed, but I just never got into the whole skinning thing...guess it is time to look into it.

If I come up with something useful, I will share it, unless someone already did the work and has a Home Automation skin that works for wide screens.

Does anyone else by any chance have the same problem with the GUI version of the connector, that it sometimes just stops communicating to a CM11? I had it happen twice so far, and the only solution to get it working again is to exit the connector, manually kill the process in task manager and restarting it again.

Again, thanks for this great plugin, Patrick, this is huge!
:D Marcus.

What is it that you need different for the wide screen (I have never checked it)?
More or wider columns?
Or just the "listview" enlarged?

Not sure, have you tried running an independent xAP Hub on the same
machine instead of the one from the plugin?
HubService-v1.2.7.2.zip in the www.mi4.biz downloads section runs as a service and should be more stable.
http://www.mi4.biz/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=getit&lid=142

The xpaframework site has been down for a while so I had to piece
together the hub code in the plugin....

Thanks again!

Hello Patrick! Thanks for your quick reply!

Well, I just copied the xml file into my BlueTwo Wide skin directory, and the items on the screen appear too close together, e.g. the menu items on the side are overlapped by the items displayed on the screen. Hard to explain, I wish I had a screenshot, but I am not on this machine at the moment, but it just looks like most of the screen content is bunched together in the left half of the screen. It all works, just does not look as good as it could ;-)

I will give that a shot and let you know! Thanks again,

OK, I got a little inspired so try the attached xml file
for the bluetwo wide. Sounds like you already copied all the images
to the b2 media folder.

Let me know if it works ok and I will add it to the download.

Thanks

Hi,

I am not sure I understand but here goes :)

Install the X10 Control - CM10/CM11 Connector
http://www.edjo.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/edward/xAP/X10/x10_main.htm

You HAVE to install the GUI version to configure CM10\CM11 Connector.
(xAP X10 Connector - GUI version - Windows installer)

After the CM10\CM11 Connector is configured, then you can use the GUI or Service.
(xAP X10 Connector - GUI version - Windows installer)
or
(xAP X10 Connector - Windows service - Windows installer)

Once the CM10/CM11 Connector is configured and running you should see
the X10 devices with this plugin.

HTH,
patrick
