Basic Home, move mouse after standby? (1 Viewer)

When I use Basic Home and my HTPC comes out of standby, my cursor is centered on the screen. This causes the "exit menu" to show up. The only way to get back to Basic Home is to press the 'left' button on my remote.. this is pretty annoying and happens every time the HTPC comes out of standby.

I also see the mouse when using the normal Home menu, but it then dissapears because there is no menu where it is hovering on and everything works as expected.

Is there a way to prevent this, maybe a script that runs when it comes out of standby thats puts the cursor at position 0,0 of the screen?

This is a dedicated HTPC so there is no mouse or keyboard attached to navigate. Moving the mouse before entering standby doesnt help, when coming out of standby the mouse is always positioned in the center of the screen.
Using the MP 1.0.1 and the latest StreamedMP, but this problem was here since I started using it about 3 months ago.

I have this problem as well on my HTPC.. Hooked up a RX Rev mouse and its unstable after.. Screen flashes with background pic and black screen, but the scroll at the bottom (RSSFeed) works fine. :p This seems to occur only on home screen after a standby or screensaver.

Im not sure why you mouse is being centered after standby. Mine doesn't exhibit this behavior, maybe try the mouse settings in window control panel.

To workaround this issue you can enable the MediaPortal option 'Show Last Active Module when starting / resuming from Standby'. If you were last in TVseries then enter standby, the next time you resume you will stay in TVseries bypassing BasicHome.

I think the mouse centers because my TV seems to reset itself. I can hear the "device connected" sound when I turn on my HTPC.

The 'Show Last Active Module when starting / resuming from Standby' isn't an option, because most of the time I am watching TV when I put the HTPC into standby, and my FloppyDTV Digital Tuner doesnt seem to like being used right after standby...

I think its back to restart MP after resume again.. its a shame MP takes so long (15s) to start, that really lowers the WAF :p
