Hi all,

I wondered if this is just me. If I try and view BBC HD off the bat from the TV Guide it will not start. It will hang MP completely, except i hear the "click" if i press stop on the remote, but nothing happens. However, it will work if i switch to BBC HD from another channel. Its only BBC HD i have this with and not ITV HD or Luxe HD.

The only way to get MP to function after the hang is to ALT-F4 out of it and restart.

Does anyone have any ideas why this might happen?

Thanks:D:D

Guessing without logs.... please attach logs

BBC HD is working fine for me. IIRC though the way the BBC have changed how BBC HD is encoded has caused big issues for ATI GPUs and Windows 7. Have you tried setting a different H264 codec to the Win7 built in one?

It looks like codecs are indeed the issue - by changing the codec you changed the issue.

Have you installed an unlocked version of SAF:
    https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/codecs-external-players-55/saf-v4-00-stable-standalone-filters-dxva-ready-h-264-vc-1-a-44614/
Get it and install it, try different codecs from there.

Also - make sure you have searched the forum for info about the ATI cards.
I have read people saying that different versions of the drivers sometimes have some issues with HD content...
