    another vote here for imgburn

    The problem with imgburn is it only burns images. Nero was good for drag/drop burning of files

    I use imgburn for all burning tasks. It has drag and drop, and can be used to burn files and folders to disk (V 2.4.3)

    "write files/folders to disk" -> view->dropzone

    The sexy "ooohhh nooo" sound has a very low WAF!

    at least its not; "ooooohhh YESSSSS!!!!" :)

    Lol ya ImgBurn is definitely one of the best alternatives to Nero... I don't know why you missed the file burning feature of it. Did you just assume that since it is titled "ImgBurn" that it was only capable of dealing with image files? Naughty Naugthy :p

    I have just upgraded from v2.1 to v2.4 and there is now an option to write (build) to disc directly from files/folders as opposed to having to build and image first :). Fantastic!!!
