I hear you, Just to many conflicts with nero over the last 4 versions or so, I really wish it was as modular as MP that would be completely what I have in mind. i think we will give the ashampoo a try, see how it does.

Thanks again everyone that posted.

Looking for a replacement for NERO, as they have finally ran me off, they have got just to damn expensive and tired of the new features going in new versions that cost a million bucks.

I know their is a lot of good projects and free stuff out their I just want input on what people think is the best. Suggestions..

Please any suggestions will help, I would like to find something tonight.

Thanks ahead of time for any info.

    Steve

I use two free ones CDBurnerXP and IntraRecorder (this does it all)

The problem with imgburn is it only burns images. Nero was good for drag/drop burning of files. I have been using imgburn for years now (gave up on Nero as well) and have been putting up with creating images and then burning them, but it is all rather time consuming.

    IMGburn gets my vote.
Turn off all those annoying sounds options though.
The sexy "ooohhh nooo" sound has a very low WAF!
