Hi,

I currently have working system with two DVB-C cards (technotrend C-1500). I am going to move
soon and I need to get DVB-T cards. So I am asking your suggestion, which cards I should select?

I use Windows Vista x64 and in future I will most likely change to Windows 7.

Currently I use "illegal" system for pay channels, with valid subscription of course.
If there is any reasonable "legal" system for DVB-T, I would like to hear that too.
I want to have atleast two DVB-T cards, and I want to watch pay channels with both
cards with one subscription.

Thanks,
Sohvaperuna

How about;

Hauppauge WinTV Nova-T 500 2x DVB-T PCI

?

or maybe

Pinnacle PCTV 2000i Dual DVB-T Pro 2xDVB-T PCI

?

    Hauppauge WinTV Nova-T 500 2x DVB-T PCI

At least few years ago when I tried that card it was causing lot of issues. Also it is just a 2xUSB tuner put into a single PCI card with USB controller. So, OS sees it as USB devices which is always giving some headache when it comes to stability on DVB tuners.

Regarding the Hauppauge WinTV Nova-T 500 (TD version at least): There are two different types of these. Can't remember what it was, but it did make a big difference... (Sorry - that's all I remember)

If I remember correctly, TD version has 2 antennas IN.
Tuners can work separated (2 tuners) or, together (2 tuners became 1 tuner) and this helps you, when you are in a place with bad signal reception, each tuner try to keep the more signal strength to finally give you the best possible.

    Regards.

    Hi Sohvaperuna,

I used to have this Terratec card but it gave me some headache when it froze the picture after som 5-8 mins after a resume. Having said that a colleague of mine had no such issues.

I now have Hauppauge HVR-2200, which is also a twin-tuner card, and it have worked really well for me.
