Can anyone recommend a program, plugin, or some way to enable video playback in black and white? Something with a ho tkey to turn it on and off would be ideal.

Hi.
I was probably being a bit fast and loose with my terminology. I meant "somewhere within the files that MP2 uses in its database".
Anyway, I found a way to do this which was far from automated but relatively low effort. I found what looked like all the images (CD covers, DVD covers, backgrounds etc all lumped together in...

Yes, I saw that. Was beyond my understanding, however. Didn't see how to set that up. I'm a relative neophyte, who's done hardly any command-line coding.
To be more specific: I don't see, under either "Grabbing Listings" or in the "First use example," where it is designated just where on one's C drive the tv.xml file is...

Many many years ago, I opened a bug report after I got that same message but I never got a reply. The reason was I had unchecked the Windows Media Player item in Windows 10 Control Panel > Program and Features > Turn Windows features on or off as I didn't need it, without thinking that it was needed by MediaPortal. I kept the "Media...

Looks like there's some kind of error regarding translations that I can't pinpoint about Subcentral. You'll find it in the log file I attached to my previous message. I don't understand it because I use MP in english, I search for subtitles in english and not in my native language, so I can't figure out what's translation got to do...

I don't now what to say, I don't know where to begin. Mediaportal user since 2004. Always a satisfied user, I must add. Lately...
Fixed, I think.
Certainly the vintage MP2 installer that I was using no longer installs the LAV filters. I can only assume that these were never part of the install package itself, but rather downloaded during the install, and that link no longer exists. Shame that the installer doesn't indicate this.
Last time when I installed the...
