Black screen for TV and recordings (when not admin) (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I found nothing in the catalyst... A strange thing: The message for the mode switching is still displayed, i.e. the screen is available and able to display the resolution provided. Only the rendering of the video seems to go wrong!?

I even reinstalled MediaPortal from scratch(!!!) - no effect, same problem :-(

I'm having a black screen when watching live TV or video as a normal user (no admin privileges). As an administrator, everything is fine...

I tested both LAV and PowerDVD codecs and even changed from EVR to VMR. No change.
I resinstalled MediaPortal (even tested 1.6 pre). No change.

I posted this in another section, but no one could help me. Maybe you can?

I think your first thread was fine where it was. Moving either or both threads around is unlikely to get you more attention. If nobody responds to a thread... well, take it as a sign that it is a very strange problem and nobody has any ideas.

With regard to the thread moving: the administrators do not read every thread so your requests have almost certainly been missed. I can move your original thread and delete this one if you really insist. Like I said already, I really do think it is pointless.
