Hi,

Strange problem here.
Brand new Intel NUC DN2820FYKH.
Installed Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit and setup all drivers etc.
Installed MePo 1.6 Final and configured to talk to the MePo TV Server.

Problem is that Live TV just shows a black screen, same problem if I try play back any recorded TV.
I can play Live TV fine from the stream in VLC and recorded TV files also play fine.
All other videos play fine inside MePo as well.
When playing live TV or recorded TV it acts as though it is playing as I can skip forward and back and when I stop live TV it warns me that I will lose anything in the buffer. I can also see the stream happening in the Manual Control section on the TV server.

Any ideas on where I can look?

I can't attach the logs as I keep getting an error when it is trying to upload the file, tried several times.

Thanks![DOUBLEPOST=1394838526][/DOUBLEPOST]Log file attached ok in this post

As it's a fresh install everything is set to either LAV Video Decoder or LAV Audio Decoder.
The AudioRenderer is set to Default DirectSound Device.

Perhaps I should mention that the Intel NUC only has HDMI output and I am using an HDMI to DVI converter which is then connected by DVI cable to a monitor.
There are no speakers attached at the moment and the Windows speaker icon indicates this.
This doesn't stop Mediaportal from playing other videos though and VLC can still play the live TV stream and recorded TV files.

    Possibly a firewall issue.
Check that MP has proper access to the network.

Does mp need more access than vlc to play the same stream or file?
The mp config says the connection to the tv server is ok.

No. My point would be that MP may not have the same access.

AFAIK that check only does checks for the .NET remoting connection (port 31456 - TCP). It doesn't check access to the server's database (port 3306 or 1433 - TCP) or RTSP streaming (port 554 for RTSP [TCP] + all ephemeral ports for RTP/RTCP [UDP]) or SMB share access.

If I play live tv in mp and right click and go to the tuning details it shows everything correct in there.

Another quick test, I can play live tv and then go into Teletext and that comes up ok. Granted teletext is now turned off, I still get the page telling me that and how to get subtitles on page 801.
