Could it just be the bug in the 285 Nvidia drivers?

Did you have the problems (the AC3/PCM sound, and black screens) with older versions of MP (1.2.1 or earlier) ?

There is something weird going on in your system, but I've no idea what....

I had no problems in the older version with the ac3/pcm en black screen

Oekie - do you have the black screen problem if you stop video playback before you turn on TV ? (or is it only a problem when you go directly to TV when playing a video ?)
